How to play
Korfball is a mixed-gender game played between two teams of eight players, with four males and four females on each team. Each half of the court has an attacking zone and a defending zone. Players can only guard opponents of the same gender. The ball is passed by hand and players cannot dribble or run with the ball. Goals are scored by throwing the ball through the basket from any direction. Players cannot shoot if being defended by a player directly between them and the post. After two goals, teams switch between attacking and defending zones.
Variations
Play in smaller teams of four with one post. Use a basketball ring instead of a korfball basket.
