Simon Says
None
How to play
One player or the teacher is Simon and stands facing the group. Simon gives commands such as 'Simon says touch your toes' or 'Simon says jump on one foot'. Players must only follow the command if it is prefaced with 'Simon says'. If Simon gives a command without saying 'Simon says' first and a player follows it, they are eliminated. Commands should be given at varying speeds to keep players alert. Eliminated players can take turns being Simon, do an active task on the side, or try to distract remaining players.
Variations
Use curriculum vocabulary for commands to tie into class learning. Speed up commands rapidly to challenge fast reaction times.
