British Bulldog

Mark out a large rectangular field with two end zones. One or two students are chosen as the bulldogs and stand in the middle of the field. All other players line up along one end zone. On the signal, players attempt to run to the opposite end zone without being caught by a bulldog. To catch a player, the bulldog must physically lift them off the ground and shout 'British Bulldog one, two, three' before the player escapes. Caught players become additional bulldogs. The last player remaining uncaught wins and becomes the first bulldog in the next game.

Instead of lifting, use a tag to eliminate players for a safer version. Add a time limit for younger students.
