Stuck in the Mud
Colourbands for taggers
How to play
Nominate two or three taggers who wear colourbands. On the signal, taggers chase the free players within the designated playing area. When a free player is tagged they must stand with feet wide apart and arms outstretched, stuck in the mud and unable to move. Free players can rescue stuck players by crawling between their legs from back to front. Once freed, both players can move again. Taggers aim to get everyone stuck at the same time. After a set time period, count how many are stuck and rotate taggers.
Variations
Increase the number of taggers as the class gets better at freeing each other. Restrict the rescue method to a high-five to make it easier for younger players.
